Great Earbuds!

Mosquito Bracelets are my latest find! And I love them! These cute little bracelets protect you from pesky and potentially dangerous mosquitos as wll as other flying insects, like gnats, etc.

I ran across these on a website that I use for reviewing products for free or at a significant discount. The name of the site is Tomoson. And the name of the product is Mosquito Bracelet, the same name as the company.
I am compelled and required to leave an honest review, and have no qualms about being honest, so this is a perfect website for me!
And this was a perfect product for me! I HATE mosquitos, and will literally RUN into the house at the first sight of one. Even though I have a bug zapper on my deck, they are relentless!
That is, until I found these little gems! Mine are blue, perfect color, I'm usually wearing blue jeans and tees anyway, and honestly, I'm not one of these girls who have be perfectly color matched! I'm quite casual about my style of dress, as long as it's comfortable, it works for me. :)
Anyway, back to these bracelets.
These have a great lemony smell, that I love, and mosquitos HATE! They are very comfortable to wear, and will fit any wrist or ankle. And that's good, because if you are in an area where there art LOTS of mosquitos, you may want to wear one on your wrist, AND one on your ankle.
One of the best features of these bracelets is that there is no DEET, so you can wear them safely!
They come in a resealable pouch, and they are reusable! Yes! reusable up to 5 days! Just keep them in the pouch between wearing.

A Pillow For Your "Bum" That actually works!

I have had back pain for years, due to an accident involving a car. And as I get older, it continually gets worse. So I use a lot of pillows, both for supporting my back, and to sit on. I usually sit on bed pillows or throw pillows, which really were not helping!
So as I was looking around a site that I review Amazon products for a discount on, I found this seat cushion:

This cushion has made a hugh impact on my body! I knew as soon as I sat on it, that I have needed this for years!! I have a bad back, and this provides a degree of comfort that I haven't felt for a very long time! It is thick and retains it's shape after you arise from it, going right back to the same thick cushion, not flattening out, so so many others I have tried! I recently had foot surgery and am required to sit for many hours with my foot elevated. I also have pins in my hip, and that causes me to have a lot of back pain.

This cushion gives me just the right amount of comfort, to alleviate a lot of that pain! This is great either at home or at the office, or automobile!

The icing on the cake with item is that it has a zipper, making it possible to take the cover off and wash it! I love that!

It had no smells when I opened it, and I appreciated that as well, I hate getting items that I have to air out because of the chemical smell they sometimes have.

It came very well packaged, inside a plastic bag, and that was inside a thick cardboard box!

All in all, this is one of the best products I've bought for my bottom and my back, and I will reccommend it to everyone!

My Love Affair With Water

My Love Affair With Water (Or How Infusing Can Change Your Life)

Using an infuser bottle plays an important part in my everyday life. Not only am I drinking more water, but I'm also enjoying it more! I've become quite creative in mixing ingredients, (not always successfully, I might add!),  and since I love trying new things, it's always fun to see what new "recipe" I can come up with.

One important feature in any infuser bottle, is that the holes in the infuser itself, be small, so that smaller items, (like mint leaves) don't slip out of it into the water bottle itself, yet large enough to let the water flow through it. Thats why I have more than one, because they vary widely in size, location of infuser, and amount it can hold. 

I prefer the infuser to be on the bottom of the bottle. In this position, it allows water to flow over the fruit / veggies even when the water level is low, ensuring that I get the full benefit of the infusion for as long as possible before having to refill. I have one in particular that I'm fond of, because it has a reamer built into the infuser! This is especially important when I am, say, at work, and don't want to leave my desk as often to make sure the water level is up to the infusion level. In that situation, the bottle is always sitting upright, and if the infuser is on the bottom, I still get full infusion. 

Now, If I'm on the move, shopping, visiting, walking, etc., then it is not such an issue, and I carry one of my bottles that have the infuser on top, because, chances are the bottle is regularly held at an angle, and no matter what the water level is,  it is still being infused. 

So, what do I put in my infuser bottles? I use a wide variety of items, but here are a few of my favorites:

• Cucumber, either alone or with melon
• Melon alone, ( I LOVE watermelon!) 
• Lemon
• Lemon and Mint leaves
• Mint leaves
• Mixed Berries
• Oranges
• Strawberries
• Lime
• Kiwi
• Grapefruit
• Pears, (cut into small pieces)

Almost anything can be put into the bottles. I usually freeze my fruits before I add them to the bottle, because it helps to keep it chilled. I can refill the bottle multiple times a day, with the same great taste, and sometimes I will put the bottle in the fridge with the used fruit to be used the next day as well. I don't recommend doing that for more than one day, because it affects the integrity of the fruits nutrients, and can begin to carrry bacteria. 

Infuser bottles are easy to care for, most come completely apart, and can be place on top rack of a dishwasher. 

So there it is, my love affair with water has been elevated to obsession level! What will you do with your water???
